Marco Puyo<\/strong> is a dreamer and permanent generator of new projects, he worked for 26 years in important Chilean wineries, allowing him to know in detail the different \"terroirs\" of the country. Internationally, he harvested grapes in Bordeaux, Champagne and Burgundy in France, Napa in the United States, and the Uco Valley in Argentina. Today he is dedicated to making his own wines, the result of this long apprenticeship, which reflect his spirit for making fresh, vibrant and energetic wines of origin. He was born in Santiago de Chile in 1966, where he lived until finishing his studies. He graduated as an Agronomist with a specialty in Oenology from the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile in 1991 and received the Oenologist Diploma in 1992. Later he worked in one of the most important wine groups in the world, Domaines Barons de Rothschild ( Lafite), as Chief Winemaker of his project in Chile, Vi\u00f1a Los Vascos in the Colchagua Valley, being one of the Winemakers who helped achieve worldwide recognition of this Valley.<\/p>\n

Years later he took over as Oenology Director<\/strong> from Vi\u00f1a San Pedro Tarapac\u00e1, the second most important wine group in Chile, where it made Alta\u00efr, Cabo de Hornos, Sideral, Kankana del Elqui and Tierras Moradas wines, among others. In 2018 he left this position to dedicate himself completely to DAGAZ Wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the years 2004 and 2005 he was director of the Association of Agricultural Engineers of Chile, participating in the creation of the Carmenere al Mundo contest, which has helped to show Chile as the main producer of this variety.<\/p>\n
